All of our terms have been in place to protect you and us from unnecessary problems and make it clear what we expect from you, and what you should expect from us. Please ring us in case anything is not clear. We are here to help.

1. Hire of equipment is on a daily basis with delivery normally between 8am and 12 noon and collection from 4pm (see Weekend Bookings -9 below for exceptions) (see Halls - 10 below for exceptions).

  • We will usually be able to agree specific drop off and collection times but this must be agreed at the time of booking
  • We can agree delivery and pickup times to indoor venues but must be arranged at the time of booking
  • For Schools and groups we can usually agree exact times to pickup as we know that once an event is over everyone wants to get home. Deliveries are less critial
  • If you tell us when your party is due to start we would ensure that we delivered your castle at least 1 hour before (important if you have an 11am start!!!)
  • If you tell us when your party is due to end we would not pickup the castle until at least 10 minutes after this time (important if your party finishes at 7pm!!!!!)
  • The delivery route is planned the day before based on distances and time required so no last minute surprises please.

2. No cancellation fee is charged if the booking is cancelled two hours before your party is due to start. Ring 07974 786634. Once the equipment is erected payment must be made in full before the equipment is left in the charge of the hirer. No refund will be made even in the event of bad weather or unsuitability of hire after setting up.

3. At all times the equipment is the property of Bouncy Jack and they reserve the right to collect the equipment at any time before, during or after the event for whatever reason.

4. In the unlikely event that Bouncy Jack cannot deliver the equipment due to events beyond their control then they will not be held responsible for any liabilities that this may cause.

5. Bouncy Jack may cancel any booking at any time without prior notice.

6. During the running of the event the following apply:

  • The adult hiring the equipment must supervise the inflatable at all times.
  • Footwear, dangerous objects such as pens, buckles, purses etc. must be removed. Spectacles and earrings which may catch are better removed.
  • Do not allow people to bounce on the front step.
  • Do not allow people to climb or hang off the walls.
  • No food, drink or smoking is allowed on the inflatable.
  • No somersaults or other manoeuvres that may risk causing damage to the persons head / neck / back or any other part of any person's body are allowed on the inflatable.
  • The supervisor should watch the inflatable constantly and any children playing in a dangerous manner must be dealt with and removed immediately.
  • Larger children must be segregated from the smaller ones. It is recommended that the smaller children are given 5 or 10 minutes, then swap for larger children for 5 or 10 minutes. Never mix very different sizes of children on the castle at the same time.
  • The inflatable must not be overloaded and an adequate bouncing space must be available for each person whilst on the inflatable as not to cause contact to others whilst bouncing.
  • The inflatable must not be deflated while in use and the anchor points must not be tampered with.
  • Party poppers, hair dye, face paint, silly string, spray foam, washing up liquid and any other liquids must not be used on the inflatable. If permanent damage is caused to the inflatable then the cost of this damage may be charged to the hirer.
  • Any vandalism or wilful damage must be paid for in full by the hirer.
  • The inflatable is not to be used by persons over 12, unless adult hire has been agreed by Bouncy Jack.
  • The inflatable must be switched off if the wind rises to a dangerous level.
  • The inflatable should be left on at all other times during the hire (even if it rains) unless prior arrangement has been made with Bouncy Jack.

7. Bouncy Jack has full public liability insurance however this cover primarily exists only when an employee of our company is present therefore we can take no responsibility or liability once the inflatable has been left in the supervision of the hirer (see legal rights section below). Bouncy Jack must also warn the hirer that if any accident occurs from the hirers neglect to supervision then the hirer will be responsible and not Bouncy Jack. This does not affect your legal rights as any damage or injury caused by failure of the equipment, or attributed to the inital setting up, would be covered by the public liability insurance. Any modifications, rearrangement or moving of the equipment or any changes to the initial setup by the hirer would not be covered by the public liability insurance (re-connecting the blower tube to the pump or resetting the RCD switch on the mains electricity supply can be done by the hirer. The RCD switch MUST NEVER BE REMOVED or the electricity supply to the castle plugged into any power supply that was not supplied by Bouncy Jack. In the event the RCD switch keeps tripping out, contact Bouncy Jack on 07974 786634 for advice.

8. In the unlikely event of a problem with the hired equipment during the hire period the hirer MUST NOT attempt to fix the problem unless it is minor i.e. the blower detaches from the castle or the RCD switch trips (press reset is the only allowed operation - see public liability clause above). Instead the hirer should ring 07974 786634.

9. Weekend Bookings will typically be delivered friday evening between 5pm and 12pm (actual time would be agreed with you). Collection on Sunday between 6pm and 12pm (again, time would be agreed with you). Full setting up provided by us, as is dismantle and removal.

10. Hall Bookings will typically be delivered 1 hour before the party is scheduled to start (actual time would be agreed with you). Collection would take place 15 to 30 minutes after the party ends (again, time would be agreed with you). Full setting up provided by us, as is dismantle and removal.
